Activities at Eastbrook

Join us for a farm safari, indulge in a farm picnic, or follow our walking maps and simply enjoy the beautiful landscapes.

We think that Eastbrook Farm is a place of fun, and wonder, and hopefully inspiration. And great landscapes, interesting animals, beautiful views, some stunning wildlife. From woodlands to ponds to pigs, it’s yours to enjoy.

The farm is a perfect location to spend a few hours, or much longer. Stay for the day, soaking up the relaxed atmosphere – or stay overnight for a longer and more leisurely exploration, and experience Eastbrook hospitality at the unique Royal Oak Pub and hotel.

Are you looking to get a team together, away from the usual environment?

Perhaps somewhere to bring a group where team building activities are organised for you? A place that also serves great food with an option for a post-event social. And can offer overnight accommodation for those travelling, and parking for those with cars. And car chargers.

Look no further! We can comfortably accommodate up to 25 in our upstairs meeting room, which has a smart TV for you to connect to and a flipchart if you want to get manually creative. We supply the teas and coffees, morning and afternoon; and a 1-course sharing lunch with water and cordials.

Rates start at £65 per head for a minimum group size of 6. Includes what we call a light, energising working lunch.

Choose your own agenda and we’ll leave you alone, or you can pick from several activities that we can host on the farm or in the pub.  Some can be competitive – great for team building, or so we hear – and others are designed to get everyone working together or just out and about.

We can add on a post-event social – we are a pub after all – be that drinks or supper, or both.  We also have 12 rooms for anyone wanting to stay the night.

And if you don’t see anything that takes your fancy, give us a call and we’ll see what we can do!

Botswicky Camping

Bounded by ancient woodland on one side, thick hedges elsewhere, a stream plus a couple of bridges, this old undulating uncut organic hay meadow offers a very private 5 acres to pitch a tent, use the old poultry house, have a hot bath, cook and eat, shower in glorious but discreet outdoor comfort!

Details for 2024 season to be released soon.

Organic Farm

Running, Riding & Cycling

The historic Ridgeway runs through the farm as a perfect trail to take you miles without touching a road – ideal for running feet or two wheels.

For a circular route, drop down onto the B4000 to return from White Horse Hill or beyond, along a wonderfully wiggly and scenic route. For something more ambitious, check out King Alfred’s Way

We will continue to make the farm ever more riding friendly, with easy to open gates, and even some small jumps here and there. Let us know if you want to bring your horse, and we will do our best to accommodate.  Check out the Visit Wiltshire website for more information about riding in Wiltshire.

Courses & Workshops

Here on the farm we have some amazing natural resources and the great pleasure of working with some highly talented people.

We also love experimenting, pushing boundaries, and sharing what we have learned along the way.

Photography Classes & Hides

Our most popular hide is in a private ancient oak woodland, set up to photograph some of the UK’s favourite woodland species. A range of perches, log piles and a photogenic fallen oak branch create the perfect stage for capturing images. Assisted tuition also available.
