Do you have any fruit trees that you want to clone? Grafting is a great way to create new fruit trees for free using a variety of traditional techniques. This session focuses on chip bud grafting and will give you plenty of chances to perfect your knife skills and become a confident grafter.

About The Event
Do you have any tasty fruit trees that you want to clone? Grafting is a great way to create new fruit trees for free using a variety of traditional techniques, but they take practice and a bit of luck. Chip bud grafting is one approach that is carried out in July and August. This session will give you plenty of chances to perfect your knife skills and become a confident grafter.
Jo has decades of teaching experience and runs accredited orchard training with The Orchard Project. She loves empowering people with knowledge and practical experience of a wide range of orchard skills. To give you the best chance of learning all you can, we will set a maximum number of 10 participants on this training day.
Tea and coffee are provided on arrival. Lunch is not provided but can be purchased from the Royal Oak or Farm Shop on the day.
