About The Event
Whether you are planning your very first veg patch or allotment or have been dabbling in veg growing for a few years, this day will maximise your success with expert advice on soil, seeds, compost, no-dig methodology, creating beds, choosing varieties, propagation, protection, plant support, mulching, watering, increasing your yield, organic solutions to pest and diseases, and much more.
The day will start at Helen Browning’s Royal Oak pub with an introduction to the day. The morning session will be a mixture of theory and practice, based in and around the pub and farm. We will enjoy a hearty lunch at the pub before heading out for our afternoon session. We will end up back at the pub for a question-and-answer session.
Tea, coffee and lunch are provided.
