About The Event
Do you have some fruit trees in your garden that need a bit of attention? Learning how to summer prune your cherries, plums and apricots is an essential skill if you want to enjoy plentiful harvests from trees that are in great shape. Sometimes it’s hard to learn this skills from diagrams in books but just a few hours assessing and pruning some real life examples, using the right tools, will do wonders for your confidence. We will be working on the plum trees at our Agroforestry Project on Eastbrook Farm.
Jo has decades of teaching experience and runs accredited orchard training with The Orchard Project. She loves empowering people with knowledge and practical experience of a wide range of orchard skills. To give you the best chance of learning all you can, we will set a maximum number of 10 participants on this training day. We will be working on the plum trees at our Agroforestry Project on Eastbrook Farm.
